As we nearing the ten month mark of not having you here in our lives, I am struck by how much I still miss hearing your voice or your calls just to see how I am which used to come on a daily basis!
I thought it only fitting that tomorrow being Valentines day that I share a bit of love. You were one of the most beautiful, brave and positive people I have ever met, and you fought every one of your battles with dignity and strength!
I miss you Jacky Lesley Parker. At the best of times you were my rock.
You know we all loved you, and fought your cancer so bravely! I just wish you had won that one...
For all the mothers out there and for all the people who have lost your mothers… This Valentines day I’m sending you a little love and white light from across the ocean. It is never easy saying good bye to someone – and I’m told that it does get easier… so here’s to hoping!
The silver lining is welcoming Tristan into motherhood… May Kade be as lucky to have you in his life as we were to have mom.
